You will be accompanied by a guide who will inform you about the attractions the city has to offer and assist you along the way.

Day 2 | Sacred Valley - Chinchero - Ollantaytambo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day at Chinchero, a traditional Cusco urban centre located at an elevated point with a beautiful view of the valley.  Then, you are transferred to the Living Museum of Yucay, a centre of Andean handicraft traditions interpretations, where demonstrations of the elaboration of textile work, adobe, pottery and silverware are carried out in the same way in which they used to in antiquity; an original recreation of Inca traditions.

In addition, you may be able to feed the 'residents' of the at this museum. These include llamas, sheep and alpacas! Next, have lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit Ollantaytambo, making a series of stops at points of interest. This town exhibits one of the most remarkable complexes of the Inca Empire. Return to your hotel in Sacred Valley.

Day 3 | Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco.

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Your tour to Machu Picchu begins with a train ride to Aguas Calientes. In Aguas Calientes you can find a train station, a craft market, restaurants and hotels of different categories for those who prefer to spend the night at the foot of the mountain and climb it early. Finally, after a short transfer, reach Machu Picchu, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Once in the citadel, you may optionally also visit the Intipunku (Sun Gate), Huayna Picchu (subject to space availability) and the Inca Bridge. After the tour, enjoy lunch at Café Inkaterra in Aguas Calientes. Return to Cusco by train in the afternoon.

Day 4 | Cusco: City tour and archaeological sites.

Breakfast at the hotel. Start your tour today by visiting Coricancha, also known as the ‘Temple of the Sun’, which was built by the Inca ruler Pachacutec. Next, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument in the Main Square. Continue your tour to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic buildings of the Incas, located just minutes from town centre, also built by Pachacutec, whose construction began in the 15th century.

Continue on to Quenqo. Quenqo is an archaeological complex of mainly religious use. Finally, visit Puka Pukara, which means "Red Fortress", an architectural complex of alleged military use with multiple spaces, plazas, baths, aqueducts, walls and towers, and it is believed the entourage of the Inca ruler used this space while he rested in Tambomachay. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 | Cusco - Southern Valley.

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Tipon, a perfectly preserved archaeological site with 12 terraces that are still cultivated, and an irrigation system considered a masterpiece of hydraulic engineering still used by the neighboring population. Next, continue to Pikillacta, considered one of the best preserved pre-Inca cities in Peru corresponding to the Wari culture, ancestor of the Incas.

Finally, visit Andahuaylillas, a village located 40 kilometers from Cusco, whose most important attraction is the San Pedro de Andahuaylillas Church. Familiarly known as the ‘Sistine Chapel of America’ due to the high quality of the artwork found in its interior, the structure was built in the 16th century on the remains of most likely Wari buildings. After, return to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 6 | Departure Cusco.

A transportation service and guide will pick you up from your hotel at the established time and transfer you to the airport.
